Privacy Policy SPLASHrooms: Backrooms Horror Effective date: October 26, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how [AcarG] ("we", "us") handles information when you play SPLASHrooms: Backrooms Horror (the "Game") on Android. We built the Game to collect as little as possible. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information directly. 1. Information stored on your device The Game saves your progress and settings locally on your device only. This includes unlocked levels, best times per level, sound volume, look sensitivity, language, graphics and touch-control preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its app data deletes it. 2. Advertising (Google AdMob) The Game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. There are two kinds of ads: Rewarded ads that you choose to watch, for example to continue after being caught, skip a level or get bonus pebbles. Interstitial ads shown occasionally between levels. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect information from your device, such as: Device advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location Device model, operating system version, language and app information Ad interactions (for example, whether an ad was viewed or clicked) Diagnostic and performance data related to ads Google may use this information to show personalized or non-personalized ads, to measure ad performance and to prevent fraud. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not receive information that personally identifies you. Your consent and choices If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before any ads are requested. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Privacy Options button in the Game's Settings menu. On any Android device you can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device). The Game can be played without an internet connection. When the device is offline, no ads are loaded and no data is sent to Google. 4. Analytics We do not use any analytics or tracking tools of our own. Unity Analytics is turned off in the Game. 5. Data sharing and selling We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the data that Google AdMob collects as described above, we do not share any data with third parties. 6. Children The Game contains horror themes and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will help remove it. 7. Data security and retention Game progress stays on your device until you delete the Game or its data. Data collected by Google AdMob is kept according to Google's own retention policies. 8. Your rights Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Since we do not hold personal data about you, most requests are best handled through the in-game Privacy Options, your device's ad settings or directly with Google.
